Contains the following type of materials: photographs. General description of the collection: The E.H. Sibert photograph collection is so named because it was donated by one E.H. Sibert. The collection, with one small exception, deals entirely with the construction of the Panama Canal from 1907 to 1913. The photos, though delicate, are an outstanding visual coverage of the building of the canal. The one exception is the seven photos of the Battleship U.S.S.
